REFUND POLICY

This Refund Policy describes the terms applicable to refunds for our services (“Services”) provided by SYLQ LABS PRIVATE LIMITED (doing business as SocialSonar) (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and accessed via https://socialsonar.app.

Please read this policy carefully. By subscribing to our Services, you agree to these terms.

1. GENERAL POLICY

The first purchase of any paid subscription package is eligible for a full refund within 7 days from the purchase date, no questions asked.

After the initial 7-day window, subscriptions remain cancellable at any time and refunds, if applicable, are processed on a pro-rated basis as outlined below.

2. SUBSCRIPTION PLANS

A. Monthly Subscriptions

  • 7-Day Full Refund: For your first subscription purchase, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase.
  • Anytime Cancellation: You may cancel at any time.
  • Pro-rated Charges + Cancellation Fee: For cancellations after the 7-day full-refund window, applicable usage charges are calculated on a pro-rated basis and a cancellation fee equal to 5% of the total package value will apply.

B. Yearly Subscriptions

Yearly (Annual) plans are also cancellable at any time. If cancellation occurs after the 7-day full-refund window, the refund will be calculated as follows:

  1. Pro-rated charges for service already consumed will be deducted from the amount paid.
  2. A cancellation fee equal to 5% of the total package value will also be deducted.
  3. The remaining amount, if any, will be refunded.

Example:

  • You paid $1,000 for a Yearly plan.
  • You cancel in the 3rd month.
  • The standard monthly rate is $99.
  • Your pro-rated charge is: 3 months × $99 = $297.
  • Cancellation fee is: 5% × $1,000 = $50.
  • Your refund will be: $1,000 − $297 − $50 = $653.

Important Note: If the calculated pro-rated charges are greater than or equal to the total amount paid (after applying the cancellation fee), you will not be eligible for a refund.

3. PREPAID “RECHARGE” CREDITS

  • No Refunds: Prepaid “Recharge” credits (purchased as “Buy more credits as per need”) are non-refundable under any circumstances, even if your account is cancelled or terminated.
  • Expiration: As stated in our Terms of Use, these credits are valid for one (1) year (365 days) from the date of purchase and will expire if unused.

4. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND

To request a refund or cancellation, contact us directly at support@socialsonar.app. For first-purchase full refunds, requests must be made within 7 days from the purchase date. We will not process refunds for any other method of cancellation. All requests are subject to review under the terms of this policy.
